While Spyfu doesn’t exactly give content marketing creation and promotion ideas it gives you access to your competitors’ keyword rankings and backlinks, which you can use to identify content creation opportunities. The Kombat feature is a great way to identify competitive content gaps.

What does it do? SEMRush is great for analytics reports, keyword research, backlinks report, domain comparison and keyword monitoring. The site audit checks your site’s health and helps you optimize on-site content. You can then track your site’s progress with the different page reports. Just like Spyfu, SEMRush is better used to explore your competitors’ SEO strategy and identify gaps to create content.
